Internet connectivity is valuable in remote logging operations for coordination, safety, and harvest planning. Iotatel has developed a unique system that can be installed in logging machines to provide a mobile WiFi hotspot. The system makes use of RF amplifiers, specialized antennas, and cellular modems to provide a WiFi Internet connection to handheld devices at within the local area. 

To date, Iotatel has installed four system in log loaders belonging to a large coastal timber company. The improved communication has enabled supply chain optimization initiatives that were not possible before.
