Manual tree falling is one of the most dangerous occupations in the forest industry. Iotatel is collaborating with a local falling contractor, a large coastal timber company, and FPInnovations to improve faller safety, training, and auditing with camera technology and wireless, streaming video systems.

The FallerCAM project has the potential to drastically change how faller training and auditing is done in BC. Field trials and demos are currently being conducted with companies who are positioned to be early adopters of this disruptive technology.
